Muktinath Temple is a sacred pagoda-style temple located at an altitude of 3,710 meters in the Mustang region of Nepal. Revered by Hindus as Mukti Kshetra (Place of Liberation) and Buddhists as Chumig Gyatsa (Hundred Waters), it is famous for its 108 outer water spouts and a natural gas flame burning on water. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges, Muktinath is one of the world's highest spiritual sanctuaries. Over the centuries, it has drawn world leaders like Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Prime Minister of Nepal Sushila Karki, alongside legendary spiritual masters including Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava), Guru Nanak Dev Ji, teenage ascetic Nilkanth Varni (Lord Swaminarayan), and 19th-century yogi Shabkar Tsokdruk Rangdröl for deep meditation and prayers.

Questions trekkers ask us

When is the best time to trek in Nepal?

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) bring the clearest views and most stable weather on the high routes. Winter suits lower treks, and we can suggest routes that work during the June to August monsoon.

How fit do I need to be?

Most of our treks are designed for people who are active and can walk five to seven hours a day. Shorter valley treks need less experience, while high routes like Everest Base Camp ask for good stamina. Tell us your experience and we will recommend a route that suits you.

Do I need a guide and permits?

Nepal requires trekking permits for every major region, and most protected areas now require foreign trekkers to walk with a licensed guide. We will confirm the current rules for your route and can arrange the guide and permits for you.

Can I book a private or custom trip?

Yes. Every trek can run as a private departure on your dates, and we can combine a trek with a pilgrimage, sightseeing or a private vehicle. Use the “Plan my trip” button at the top of any page, or message us on WhatsApp.

Do you arrange airport pickup and transport?

Yes. We offer airport pickup in Kathmandu and private cars, jeeps and vans with experienced drivers for transfers, sightseeing and road journeys to trailheads.
